Such is my life

1. There is absolutely NO good reason to find a single surgical glove on one's front lawn. Am I right?

2. Why on earth do I have a computer file called "redneckweddinginvitation" on my office computer? And why can't it be opened with any program known to mankind and Mac?

These are the things that occupy my mind...

1. You are right. No good reason at all.

YT,
To say nothing of the *real* question involved; i.e., Where is the other one??? Ewwwwww.

Um, yes, no good reason.

And hm... do you want to open that file at all? That may be where the other glove is. All I'm saying...

I've believe I may actually have seen the redneckweddinginvitation file - you're probably better off not opening it. You can get a fairly good idea of its contents at /www.bradrand.com/Pages/redneck_page.htm

The surgical glove...now that's distinctly odd!

My Korean in-laws use surgical gloves while cleaning or mowing the lawn. They worked in a hospital and had boxes of gloves. I was amazed how helpful they were for gardening.

Do you have any Asian gardeners nearby?

Your previous post reminded me how heavy I used to feel, weighed down and blanketed by grief. It was exhausting.

My father died when I was sixteen. He was 47. You don't forget the grief you felt. The grief softens into...nostalgia? kind memories? reality?...but never goes. I saw my mother go through her grief and felt helpless and then resentful - as if mine was less (it was different but how was I to know). It is good she's at her grandmothers. It is hard for you. There are no shortcuts through the pain.
